Here's a structured plan offering 6.0% pa growth (not compound). It is based on the level of the FTSE 100 Share Index on one of five potential anniversaries. This plan offers a positive return even if the Index has fallen. After 2 years, if the Index is at or above its start level as measured on 25 November 2016, the plan matures with a growth of 12.0%. If the Index is lower the plan continues until the check level is reached. The final kick-out level is only 80% of the start level - that is it will give a positive return even if the Index has fallen by up to 20%. If it fails to mature then initial capital is returned if the Index on the final day is not lower than 50% of the start level. The counterpary is HSBC.
