The Spring Statement presented to Parliament yesterday, on 3 March 2026, was a low-key affair and no tax changes were announced by the Chancellor.

The end of the tax year on 5th April is approaching and for those businesses with a 31st March or 5th April year end or for individuals generally, now is a good time to review your situation before the year end. This is to ensure you are maximising allowances or tax efficiencies including the timing of any planned business expenditure or capital disposals, making pension contributions or voting dividends etc.
