I've booked our base camp for the long awaited, and monumentally bad idea, hike up Yr Wyddfa

I'm even dragging pete and the podlings up with me, just to give you all more value for your donations. I wouldn't want you to feel short changed.

On the day people gather to send Chris Smith off to the campfire in the sky, it seems like a good day for missing people. Friends and family who have gone before us, and also those who have just laid a different course to us and slipped out of view.

The weather seems to agree with me.
