On Friday 5th September 2025, we’re hosting a brilliant networking morning at the beautiful Druid's Heath Golf Club in Aldridge from 9:30–11:30am.

✅ A delicious full English breakfast to kick things off

At a recent meeting, we started talking about why we come networking, and why we love networking at BNI Century so much.

Here's what Gemma Giles from Staffordshire Network for Mental Health says:

"Until I came to Century, I thought that structured breakfast networking meetings were stuffy, suited and booted. I imagined people were there to talk about their business, but not necessarily to listen.

I'm not a 'structure' kind of person. I like talking to people, and enjoy the conversations, especially hearing the barriers people are learning to manoeuvre through. I connect better with stories and getting to know the person behind the company, so struggled with the idea of networking as I thought it was out of my comfort zone. Until I came to BNI Century...

What makes Century different for me is the people! Everyone in the group is your support system, your marketing team and your cheerleaders - both on the good busy weeks and the not-so-good quieter weeks. They motivate me to push myself, and also give me the great advice I need to help me succeed.

Every Friday, I’m excited to see them all, to find out what they have been up to, learn some useful advice and also see the amazing work being passed between us all.

It’s a tough world when your trying to start, grow or maintain a business - and sometimes it can be lonely. I don’t feel that anymore as I know I have a whole team behind me trying everything they can to help me achieve my goals. Thanks Team Century! 😍"

Fantastic atmosphere at our meeting yesterday at Druids Heath Golf Club led by our President Gemma Giles and Vice President Paul Deaville.

We had a great January as you can see from the stats in the picture!

Also from some of our pictures we are all there for a reason of growing our own businesses but we are one big happy family having fun along the way doing it and genuinely would do anything to help each other in any way.

Chloe Hawkins ACMA, CGMA of CH Accounting Solutions was voted to have done the best 60 seconds so she will get 2 minutes at next weeks meeting.

We also had a brilliant Education Slot by Neil Sargeant and 10 minutes from our Marketing guru Colette Bratton of the Small Business Equaliser.

We had 3 fabulous visitors and all said they really enjoyed the meeting and at least 2 are coming again next week when we are online.

Our chapter is on a mission to grow and we would love you to be part of it and as we have a one seat per profession policy if you join us as a member you will have no competition!! So why not see what we are all about and join us Online on Friday 9th February between 10.15-12 noon, where you get to meet some great business contacts and do a 60 second presentation on your business?
