Are you prepared for upcoming changes in Social Insurance contributions?

An important update to Egypt’s Social Insurance contribution rates will take effect on 1 January 2027, with direct implications for business costs and compliance.

Contribution rates for Old-Age, Disability, and Death Insurance will increase by 1% in line with Law No. 148 of 2019.

Employer: 18.75% → 19.25%
