Celebrating the anniversary of when, as a young man, I first arrived in Shanghai, China and discovered the dynamism and energy that was still largely unknown outside of China at that time. Its been an incredible experience and one that keeps teaching me new things every year. Although, I was originally focused purely on the Shanghai market, clients and contacts have organically relocated across regions and this has continued to keep me busy and allowed for greater expansion of digital, remote working. I will continue to offer physical support and guidance to foreign professionals in the China market but I will also be visiting more of the countries I also now cover. Here's to good health and good relationships as I look ahead to the next decade

Steve Bartlett, UK entrepreneur and BBC Dragons Den star (Shark Tank). A pod cast episode about couples allocating income by Ramit Sethi. As a guide, 60% fixed costs (living expenses) 10% savings to cash deposit, 10% investments (increases significantly with age if left too late) and 20% "guilt free spending". This is AFTER the disciplined essentials have been taken care of. Sadly, the fixed costs and the guilt free spending can be way too high for those who "do not want professional advice" as well as paying off property loans too early or keeping too much in a deposit account. The avoidance of failure does not lead to successful opportunities.

I'm pleased to celebrate 20 years of service with Gladstone Morgan in the international market (24 years in total in China). Longevity, Integrity and Trust over 2 decades of changes, challenges and turbulence speaks volumes for the critical thinkers. In a world of short attention spans and smart phones controlling behaviors, Im grateful for the the 20% of people who still use their 5 senses wisely. Here's to my next milestone anniversary of growth, support and assistance. Cheers to that!

Good to see the long arm of the law reaching across borders to crack a sophisticated romance scam operation and a significant BITCOIN haul. I've never been able to help someone who was 'romance scammed'. Its not something people talk about, until its too late! Looking at the size of this operation, thankfully we were not 'SMEAR TARGETED' as a result. It looks like they would have had significant resources to throw at the task of trying to make us silent and hurt more people.
