We’re officially looking for speakers for our 2027 SAWIB events, and we know there is so much knowledge, experience, and perspective within our Southern Alberta business community worth sharing.

You don’t have to be a professional speaker. If you’re a woman in business with expertise, a valuable perspective, or a topic you believe could help other women in business, we’d love to connect.

We also want our community to help shape next year’s events!

Ready to mix things up a little? Our September SAWIB event is taking us to the pickleball courts!

Join us next Thursday, September 17 from 5:30–7:30 pm at Pickle Point for an evening of pickleball, snacks, drinks, good laughs, and plenty of time to connect with other women in business.

And no, you do not need to know how to play pickleball to come!

We’ll have one court with an instructor covering the basics and helping beginners learn the game, plus a few courts set up for a fun tournament for anyone ready to bring a little fun competitive energy.

We’ll also hear from the owner of Pickle Point, who will be sharing some of her experience as a local business owner here in Lethbridge and the story behind building her business.

Not interested in playing at all? That’s completely fine too. Come for the food, drinks, conversation, and a chance to meet some new people.

Gather & Graze Charcuterie YQL will be providing delicious charcuterie boards for the evening, and drinks will be available for purchase at Pickle Point. Pickle Point

✨Meet Klynne, The Heart Behind The Wellness Prescriber✨ is.a.pharmacist

Klynne’s journey into functional health coaching began with family. When her cousin struggled to conceive and wasn’t getting answers from her healthcare team, Klynne stepped in and started asking the deeper questions.

She did the digging others wouldn’t, and from that moment, The Wellness Prescriber was born!

Working in a field that has long been patriarchal hasn’t been easy, but Klynne has never shied away from challenging the status quo. Instead, she’s used those challenges as fuel to advocate harder, look deeper, and truly listen to women who feel overlooked.

What sets Klynne apart is her in-depth analysis of lab results using optimal ranges, allowing her to identify dysfunction before it turns into chronic disease.

Her goal is simple but powerful: help women feel seen, heard, and supported, and to give them answers they can trust.

Her proudest moments? Helping women with a history of miscarriages go on to carry healthy pregnancies to full term. 💕FOUR babies and counting!

Our March event with 1st Choice Savings and Credit Union was such a great reminder of how powerful these rooms can be!

Nahid brought so much value and made the evening interactive, engaging, and fun with her money game! 💴 It was incredible to see everyone so involved and open to learning in a different way.

Thank you to Nahid Hassen and the team at 1st Choice Savings and Credit Union for hosting us and creating such a welcoming space.

And of course, thank you to everyone who showed up, participated, and continues to make this community what it is! 💗
