Thank you to all nurse practitioners (NPs) across Ontario who provide their expertise and care in hospitals, primary care and long-term care homes.

NPs are a vital part of Ontario’s health-care system. They assess patients, diagnose illness, prescribe medications, order and interpret tests, perform medical procedures and more. They also play a key role in managing chronic conditions and supporting a patient’s physical and mental health.

Ever wonder why people buy Critical Illness Insurance from me? Here is a strategy to tie it to boosting your RRSP. There are many other good reasons.

This graphic illustrates a real life example on how we can not only hedge our portfolio using alt funds, negatively corelated asset classes, options, alternative asset classes...BUT also using insurance as a TAX advantaged way of protecting the downside.

To some, what I just said may sound like a foreign language, but the graphic is plain English.

This is money that can help pay for the higher cost of nutrition as you try and recover, it may help subsidies some of your lost income because you have to take time away from work (we all know LTD and sick leave only cover a fraction what we are used to making), it may afford you to have a loved one take time away from work to support you in your recovery, or...maybe it pays for a celebration once you get better after months of battling recovery.

For as little as $30/mth, a 40 year old male non-smoker can get $500,000 of term coverage to protect loved ones while they are dependent. It's even cheaper for women!

Most people don't think twice about going for lunch or drinks and spending that amount on a whim. Do the right thing and get your family protected.
