I was recently presented with an unexpected challenge by the YWCA Regina.
As part of this year's Walk a Mile in Their Shoes campaign, I was surprised with a red high heel and challenged to raise $10,000 in support of programs that help women and families affected by domestic violence.
Having participated in this event for the past 10 years, I was honoured to accept the challenge.
However, I've decided to set a more ambitious goal:
🎯 $20,000 by September 17.
Over the next two weeks, I'll be sharing updates on this fundraising journey and asking my network to help make a meaningful impact in our community.
Domestic violence is an issue that affects individuals, families, workplaces, and communities. Organizations like the YWCA provide vital services and support for those facing difficult circumstances, and I am proud to support their work.
I invite my colleagues, friends, community partners, clients, and fellow business leaders to join me in supporting this important cause.
