The beautiful Minnedosa Golf & Country Club is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill our Superintendent position for the 2027 season and beyond. Our course, situated in the picturesque Little Saskatchewan Valley of Minnedosa, Manitoba, boasts spectacular views, undulating greens and pristine conditions. This position runs from April 1st until early November each season. Minnedosa provides an excellent work/life balance throughout the summer months with a motivated management group eager to continue enhancing our golf course and facility.
Responsibilities:
All aspects of golf course maintenance including:
• Respectfully lead the turf care team, including but not limited to scheduling, training, monitoring and providing a high level of communication with staff.
• Turf equipment operation
• Course setup
• Irrigation operation & maintenance
• Cultural practices including aeration, verticutting, topdressing and more.
• Chemical application
• Maintain accurate & complete records
Desired Experience:
• Diploma or Certificate in Turfgrass Management or extensive turf care experience
• Golf Course Maintenance Experience
• Experience with centrally controlled irrigation systems
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff, membership and management.
• Valid Manitoba pesticide applicator’s licence (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift 50lbs and work hands on in challenging outdoor conditions
• Flexible shift requirements, can include evenings, weekends & holidays
• Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence
