Amanda and Chantelle had a great time at the Downtown Business awards last week. So many amazing downtown businesses were recognized and celebrated.

Saving for retirement is hard enough - don't lose your hard earned money to these common tax & planning traps!

1️⃣Taking CPP & OAS early reduces your monthly benefit permanently. Sometimes taking it early makes sense but doing it by default can cost you long-term.
2️⃣Treating RRSP as the only tool: RRSP withdrawals are taxable income. Balancing your strategy with TFSAs and non-registered accounts gives you far more flexibility.
3️⃣Not understanding the OAS claw-back: while a claw-back is not the end of the world, strategic withdrawals can make all the difference.

Are you actually covered, or just guessing?
