Did you know that unlike the RRSP, these critical financial accounts don't give you a 60-day grace period into the new year? 🕒
If you want to maximize your wealth and slash your tax bill, you have until December 31 to make these moves.

This is where I sat this morning for a health care appointment!! Virtual healthcare is an amazing thing!
7:15am - jumped on a virtual call with a nurse practitioner to talk about a couple symptoms while finishing my hair and makeup.
7:25am - had the blood requisition in my inbox
8:00am - the lab opens and I will stop on my way to the office.

I did not have to change my schedule to accommodate the doctor's office schedule! Heck, I didn't even leave my ensuite!

If you have Sun Life group benefits - you should be taking advantage of this feature for you and your staff! Think of the time people save by doing the appointment from their desk!

2) Grab employer match when available
3) Crush high-interest debt

Saving for retirement is hard enough - don't lose your hard earned money to these common tax & planning traps!

1️⃣Taking CPP & OAS early reduces your monthly benefit permanently. Sometimes taking it early makes sense but doing it by default can cost you long-term.
2️⃣Treating RRSP as the only tool: RRSP withdrawals are taxable income. Balancing your strategy with TFSAs and non-registered accounts gives you far more flexibility.
3️⃣Not understanding the OAS claw-back: while a claw-back is not the end of the world, strategic withdrawals can make all the difference.

Are you actually covered, or just guessing?

Picking a random number out of thing air or only insuring your mortgage usually leaves big gaps - or leaves you overpaying for coverage you don't need.

Getting your life insurance coverage right comes down to knowing your real number. Not's not just about covering what you owe today; it's about protecting the income your family relies on for tomorrow.
