This weekend, Fredericton is hosting an amazing event promoting Womens wellness, empowerment and connection at the Fredericton Womenโs Show , and one of our close friends will be there, Northside Counselling Services. It would be wonderful to pay them a visit and support many of the other vendors and speakers over the weekend.

"Our counselling sessions focus on what clients need to feel better about themselves, their lives, their relationships, and how they can reduce stress and anxiety. We have referred clients to other wellness supports in Fredericton, such as massage and Reiki, or have recommended fun activities going on in the community with the purpose of taking breaks and restoring energy. For our staff, we regularly have self-care activities that focus on the belief that taking care of ourselves is essential to being able to care for our clients.
Our booth gives participants a chance to meet a counsellor and build a comfort level that may help them choose to begin counselling, especially for those who have never been. We'll have handouts and quotes that give people something they needed to hear that day. We want people to look forward to what counselling can do for them."
