A common misconception is that infinite banking is expensive. The truth is, it is a process, not an expense!

The idea is to take control of the things you are already financing - redirecting the flow of money back to your pocket instead of the bank's. Most families start small and build their systems as they gain confidence.

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear about infinite banking is that it requires life insurance. It doesn't.

While life insurance is the most efficient way to practice, infinite banking is the process of saving in an asset you own and control, and leveraging the asset to finance the things you would normally use an outside lenders for.

Ultimately, it's a way to keep more of your money working harder for you, not the bank.

5 things I would say to encourage my younger self that would have changed her life for the better:

1- You are enough. Stop caring about what others think and make yourself proud.

2- Grow your faith. Read the bible and journal every day. Surround yourself with people who want to grow too.

3- Never stop learning. Read good books and learn from people smarter than you.

4- Dream bigger. Your life will be better than you can imagine.

5- Do hard things just to prove you can! Spoiler- you will run several half marathons, learn to sail, own & renovate your dream farmhouse, and accomplish many other things you think are impossible!

I still remember the days we prayed for the life we have now. We didn't see it then, but every struggle, difficulty and hard time made it even sweeter. While it's not perfect, life has a way of working out even better than you can imagine. God is good, all the time.
