Every great firm has a story, but it’s the people who grow alongside it who truly define it. 💚

As we celebrate 35 years of FCR, we’re continuing to share the experiences of the team members who have helped shape our firm along the way.
This week, we’re featuring Meghan Rocca, Manager of Payroll and Finance, who is celebrating an incredible milestone of her own 10 years with FCR!

Meghan began her journey with FCR in the bookkeeping department as an hourly employee and has continued to grow into the leadership role she holds today. For Meghan, those 10 years have been defined by growth, trust, opportunity, and most importantly, the people.

In her words, FCR has given her the opportunity to “build a career, not just hold a job.” It’s a reflection of what we hope FCR continues to be: a place where people can learn, grow, take on new opportunities, and feel supported both professionally and personally.

Expanding our tax expertise at FCR.

We’re pleased to welcome Thomas Guscott, Tax Lawyer, to FCR!

Thomas brings dedicated tax-law expertise directly into our advisory team, working alongside FCR’s tax and business advisors to help clients navigate complex tax matters with practical, integrated advice.

His practice will focus on income tax planning and will support acquisitions and sales, corporate reorganizations, financing, estate planning, and other complex tax matters.

Importantly, Thomas’s role is designed to complement, not replace, the trusted legal relationships our clients already have. By working collaboratively with existing legal counsel and FCR advisors, Thomas adds another layer of specialized tax knowledge to the team supporting our clients.

A Sudbury native and graduate of Lakehead University’s Bora Laskin Faculty of Law, Thomas is also deeply involved in the community, serving as President of the Board of United Way Centraide North East Ontario and as a director with the Sudbury Regional Competitive Soccer League.
