After more than 40 years of dedication, leadership, and memorable stories, we gathered to celebrate the retirement of Michael Epp and an incredible career that has left a lasting mark on Metrix Group, our clients, and our communities.

Michael began his journey in 1986 and became a Partner in 1988, helping shape Metrix Group into the firm it is today. Throughout his career, he provided trusted assurance, tax, advisory, and planning services to clients across Alberta and beyond, while building strong relationships that extended far beyond the numbers.

Known for his expertise, commitment to clients, and ability to share a story that could be just as detailed as an audit file, Michael became a mentor, leader, and friend to many. Whether it was advice in the boardroom, guidance in the office, or one of his trademark humorous comments delivered at exactly the right moment, Michael always knew how to make an impact.

His wife Gayle, children, and grandchildren joined dozens of Metrix Group team members to celebrate this remarkable milestone and help send him off into his next chapter.

While we're confident Michael can finally close the books on his career, we suspect he'll continue balancing plenty of adventures on the water, time with family, community involvement, and perhaps a few stories that somehow get better with every retelling.

Thank you, Michael, for your leadership, dedication, and the countless contributions you've made over the years.

Congratulations on an extraordinary career and a well-earned retirement. We wish you fair winds, smooth waters, and many great stories still to come.
