This provincial initiative is replacing the Fuel Tax Relief Program and provides a one time, tax-free payment of $100 per eligible adult, if your total household income is less than $225,000. The rebate intends to momentarily offset the impact of inflation on everyday essentials.

Fun fact – in 1926, $5.42 had the same buying power as $100 today!!

Starting July 1, eligible Albertans can get $100 to help with the costs of everyday essentials.
