As summer break begins, many families are making plans to squeeze every bit of fun out of the season.
And if you’ve ever wondered how the school year disappeared so quickly, you’re not alone.
As a mom, I’m constantly reminded how fast time passes.
One thing I’ve noticed in my work is that retirement planning feels a lot like parenting. We know it’s important, but it’s easy to assume there’s still plenty of time.
Then one day you’re looking at graduation photos and wondering where the years went.
If you’re in your 40s or 50s, it might be worth asking yourself:
• Do I know what retirement will realistically cost?
• Am I saving enough?
• Am I investing with a purpose, or simply accumulating accounts?
• Does my current plan still align with the life I want to live?
Retirement planning doesn’t have to be complicated.
The goal isn’t to have the biggest portfolio.
The goal is to create options, flexibility, and confidence for the future while still enjoying summers like these along the way.
What are you most looking forward to this summer?
