Paul Vicente - Stand UP for Brampton

Paul Vicente - Stand UP for Brampton Stand UP and let's make our city better. A "like" means I read what you wrote. Thank you. On October 27, 2014, you can make a better choice.
(1)

You can choose someone who brings a new perspective and attitude to solving our city’s challenges, instead of someone who only knows how to pass the blame. You can choose someone who truly believes in fiscal responsibility; someone who will work every day to keep taxes and expenses as low as possible, while still delivering the quality services and amenities you expect from your city. Finally, you

can choose to elect an individual who always puts service first. This means that when you need to express a viewpoint or concern, your councillor’s first reaction is to respond, and then do everything possible to address your issue. This is the kind of representation you can expect if you make the right choice on election day. In the coming months, I will be working to meet you and learn what it is that makes you passionate about living in our beautiful city. With your support, and together with the support of all the residents of Wards 1 and 5, we can choose a new path. Please stand with me, and let’s stand for a better Brampton. Make a stand for our city, and lets move forward!

GO BRAMPTON! "I couldn’t be prouder’ says Prime Minister Carney as he addresses Team Canada after their historic victory at FIFA 2026 and speaks about the players who come from Brampton and how he visited Brampton recently to make a historic $64 million investment for our newest recreation centre at Embleton!

All-Day Two-Way GO Train service is coming to the Kitchener Line.

Metrolinx is completing the Transit and Rail Project Assessment Process (TRPAP) to support the planned expansion of infrastructure along the Kitchener Rail Corridor for the Halton Subdivision between Bramalea and Georgetown GO Stations. The project will help to enable two-way, all-day GO train service with increased frequency.

Join us for a Public Information Centre to learn more on Wednesday, June 24, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Brampton City Hall in the Atrium.

Working with Mayor and Council, I’ve been proud to support the expansion of tools that help address the enforcement concerns we continue to hear from residents across Brampton.

The City’s Automated Licence Plate Recognition program has now expanded with seven AI-enabled units operating on by-law enforcement vehicles, helping officers identify parking violations faster, improve compliance and respond more effectively to areas with ongoing concerns.

With officers patrolling 24/7, this technology will help support safer, more accessible neighbourhoods; including protecting emergency access routes and improving street safety for everyone.

We are building places where people will live! I am so pleased to see the construction progress of Basswood Seniors Residence in my Ward, including the recent roof topping-off milestone during Seniors Month in Peel.

I have championed this project as the Vice Chair of Human Services at the Region of Peel, and this marks an important step forward as the first purpose-built mass timber affordable rental project in Peel; creating a sustainable, accessible and welcoming home for seniors in our community.

Basswood Seniors Residence will help address the need for more affordable seniors’ housing while providing a space designed to support connection, independence and quality of life. It’s exciting to see this vision continue to take shape and bring new opportunities for Brampton’s growing senior population.
