Md. Azhar is our Chief consultant who has been practicing since 1976 for almost 40 years. Azhar comes from a privileged family in Old Dhaka also known as Boro Bari, Bangsal. He finished his Bachelors in Commerce and later his Masters from Dhaka University, He started working as an apprentice with the one of the best Income Tax lawyer in the country, Mr. Sultan Uddin Ahmed. He started practising by himself and eventually form his own firm by 1986. Even though his base was in Old Dhaka as time went he worked with the big organizations and important personnel, his clientele included the Large Tax Payers in the country, Co-operations, trading companies, Partnership Firms, NGOs. Azhar is known throughout the industry as a consultant for his honesty,
He was an active Lions Member, active Rover scout and Dhaka College and Dhaka University Accounting Alumni member. Advocate Md. Mozammel Hoque is a Consultant having expertise on Income Tax, Vat and Company Affairs matters. He has been in the industry for more than 17 years, and is known for his honesty, sincerity and presence of mind. Even though he initially had more individual files and gradually he is working with number of Partnership Firms, Co-Operations, Limited Companies and NGOs. He is also active member in Dhaka Bar Association, Dhaka Taxes Bar and Bangladesh Bar Council. Mozammel Hoque joined Md. Azhar & Associates while he was studying. He finished his schooling from the renowned Missionary school Saint Gregory’s High School, and then finished his HSC from another reputed institute, Notre Dam College. He later went on and finished his Bachelors, LL.B and Master. He did not stop with all his Academic degrees, he later on got his Advocacy and than his Income Tax Practitioner (ITP) License. Mozammel attends training, workshops and seminar on Income Tax, Vat to keep himself updated with the ever changing tax laws from various tax institutes. Sazzadus Sahid Chowdhury is a Tax Consultant at Md. Azhar & Associates, has 10 years of post qualification experience in the profession of Accountancy services, Tax services, Legal Services, Setting up new business and Business Registrations. He comes from an accounting background. He finished his schooling from the renowned Missionary school Saint Gregory’s High School, then did his HSC from Rifles High School & College. Later he finished his Bachelors and Master in Accounting. He was engaged Saha Mazumder & Co. Chartered Accountants Firm as an Article student for 4 years. While he was in the CA Firm he was recruited by Transcom Group where he worked for 3 years. Besides gaining experiences in the job market he was also looking after his family business of Cloth Wholesale and Retail in Chittagong and Islampur. Sazzadus Sahid Chowdhury joined Md. Azhar & Associates in 2009 as a Consultant. He established a branch chamber of Md. Azhar & Associates at 8A, Islampur Road, Surma Plaza, Dhaka. Before joining Md. Azhar & Associates Raihan Ibne Azhar had worked as a Consultant in a leading HR & Strategic Management Firm in Bangladesh. There he got the opportunity to work with the top Human Resource and Chartered Accountants in the corporate world. He has the experience of working in more than 8 different industries. In the HR Firm, Raihan Ibne Azhar assisted the lead consultant to provide Talent Management and Recruitment Process Outsourcing Service, Industry Analysis, draft HR or Employee Manuals covering disciplinary procedures, code of conduct, and benefits policies. His major academic area is Human Resource Management. Besides this he pursuing on gaining professional qualification on Income Tax Law and Labour Law. Raihan has finished his Masters in HRM & Employee Relationship from Brunel University, London. He attended a lot of workshops, seminars on Income Tax laws, Human Resource, Employee Relationship, Conflict Management, Organizational Behaviour, etc He finished his BBA from North South University. Raihan Azhar finished his A Level and O Levels from the renowned school, Scholastica.
