📢 Important Notice from NBR Bangladesh: Deadline Extended for e-VAT Return Entry!

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended the deadline to enter previously submitted hard copy VAT returns into the online e-VAT system.

🗓️ Extended Deadline: June 30, 2026

💻 Action Required: Businesses must use the 'Hard Copy Return Entry' sub-module to digitize their paper returns.

⚠️ Consequences of Non-Compliance:

- Closing Balance Freeze: Starting May 2026, the closing balance will be frozen/inoperable (no adjustments allowed).

- Refund Restrictions: No VAT refund claims will be accepted unless 100% of the returns are available online.

Ensure compliance before the deadline to avoid operational disruptions!

The deadline for collecting enlistment and renewal certificates for Auditors & Audit Firms (FY 2025-2026) has been extended with late fees.

All concerned auditors and firms are requested to collect their certificates within the extended period to avoid any inconvenience.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh has issued a new circular for students enrolled under the PAS-Special Offer (formerly PAS-One Off Offer).

👉 Students who enrolled in the CA program through the PAS (One-off Offer) or PAS (Special Offer) by November 30, 2025, are required to submit certain important information.

👉 This information will be used primarily to make decisions regarding the reduction of the articleship period.

📌 All concerned students are requested to complete and submit the Google Form sent via email by April 2, 2026.

⏳ Timely submission is highly important, as it may impact ICAB’s future decisions.
