FM Consulting International is currently looking for prospective candidates for filling up a vacancy for one of their Client. The details of the Client is as follows
About the Firm:
The Austrian company Münzer Bioindustrie GmbH is an owner-managed family enterprise, which is committed to produce energy from waste and residual materials. We have established a 100% foreign owned subsidiary Muenzer Bangla Pvt. Ltd. in Bangladesh. Münzer is currently looking for appointing a CFO for its subsidiary, based in Dhaka.
Major Responsibilities:
Emphasis:
1. Overall responsibility for the financial performance of the
company
2. Planning, reporting and controlling of the financial affairs of
the company
3. Full responsibility for all compliance matters.
•Creation of a capital plan/budget that aligns with overall business
plans and strategies
•Development and implementation of a continuity plan and
assurance that the continuity plan is in force, this includes
ensuring that the plan is tested periodically
•Performing and recording day to day financial transactions,
including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording
accounts receivables’ data
•Preparations of reports and recommendations to the Board of
Directors concerning financial performance measurement and
performance management.
•Fulfillment and monitoring of financial objectives, the financial
health and financial performance of the Company
•Fulfillment of all necessary accounting duties
•100%-compliance of the company with local laws and regulations
•Taking care of proper insurance cover in line with group insurance
policies
•Preparing tax reports, tax payments and returns
•Main point of contact between the Company and external auditor,
partner banks, consultants and government bodies related to
financial matters
Place/Location of Work: Dhaka, Bangladesh
Qualifications/Skill sets:
•Mandatory: Strong communication skills with fluency in English.
•CA/CMA/ACCA preferred
•Sound knowledge of Accounting, Controlling, Treasury
•BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or other relevant fields
•Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience and leadership with
International Company or company with global activities,
German/Austrian Company in particular.
•Leadership skills
•Mature personality who is capable of handling all hierarchy levels
•Strong intercultural knowledge and communication capability.
•Knowledge of German desired but not a must.
Reporting Structure: The CFO would be directly reporting to the directors in Austria.
