The deadline for filing tax returns for all taxpayers other than companies for the assessment year 2023-2024 is January 31, 2024, as NBR extended the Tax Day or due date for filing tax returns for the said assessment year via File No. 08.01.0000.030.011.0032012/431, dated November 29, 2023. To get all kinds of tax benefits, as well as to prevent fines and interest, everyone who has not yet filed their return should do so by the extended tax day at the latest.

📢 Regulatory Update: BSEC Order No. BSEC/CMRRCD/2021-391/73

Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission mandates issuers of listed securities to transfer unpaid dividends and unsettled shares to the Capital Market Stabilization Fund (CMSF). Failure incurs a 2% monthly fine, emphasizing investor protection and market stability.
