Position: Senior Manager, Finance & Accounts(Head of the Department)
Qualification : ACA/FCA
Location: Dhanmondi, Dhaka
Salary: 300k
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Financial Leadership
• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals and expansion plans.
• Provide financial insights and advisory support to the Business Head and senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Drive EBITDA growth and ensure financial sustainability of the organization.
2. Financial Reporting & Management Information System (MIS)
• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Monitor inventory analysis, vendor aging, debit note recovery, and category-wise payment vs. sales analysis.
• Develop and enhance MIS reporting systems to support operational and strategic decisions.
3. Cash Flow & Fund Management
• Ensure proper cash flow planning and maintain optimal liquidity levels.
• Supervise preparation of 4-week rolling cash flow projections.
• Monitor fund requirements of different departments and ensure justification-based fund allocation.
• Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions for smooth banking operations.
4. Compliance, VAT & Taxation
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including VAT, TAX, corporate tax, and other regulatory obligations.
• Supervise VAT returns, tax documentation, and statutory submissions.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit observation.
5. Operational Control & Process Improvement
• Oversee day-to-day finance and accounts operations including bill verification, GL reconciliation, bank reconciliation, vendor balance reconciliation, and settlement processes.
• Coordinate with IT for ERP system upgrades and financial module enhancements. 6. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
• Cash flow management efficiency
• Budget adherence and cost optimization
• Compliance with VAT & TAX regulations
• Audit findings and resolution timeline
• Contribution toward achieving budgeted EBITDA and EAT
• Strengthening internal control and risk management framework
Educational Qualification:
• BBA & MBA/Masters Degree in Accounting/Finance from a reputed university.
Experience:
• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts.
• At least 3–5 years in a senior leadership or department head role.
• Experience in Retail, FMCG, Trading, or the Service Industry will be highly preferred.
