📲 STP Finalisation 📲
The team at Next Steps Accounting has been busy this week reviewing payroll data and completing the STP Finalisations for our clients.
Employees no longer receive group certificates but have their data reported directly to the ATO so they can complete their tax returns.
We advise clients not to start their tax return preparation until their employment information is finalised after 14 July to avoid mistakes or amendments.

That’s when Single Touch Payroll (STP) data needs to be finalised.
The sooner you do, the sooner your staff can lodge their tax return.
