On the 1st of July 2024, our client Sascha from will embark on an incredible journey: running from Brisbane to Sydney, covering a distance of approximately 1000 kilometres. This journey will traverse some of the most beautiful and challenging terrain in Australia, leading southward toward Sydney.
The goal for this expedition is to raise awareness for organ transplants and the vital significance of organ donation. Organ transplants play a pivotal role in saving countless lives annually, underscoring the importance of ongoing support for this life-saving practice. This cause holds personal significance for Sascha, as his mother is a recipient of an organ transplant.
Anticipating a duration of around 10 days, with each day covering approximately 100 kilometres, Sascha aims to beat the current record. This endeavour will undoubtedly present physical challenges, yet he will push himself to the limits to advocate for this crucial cause.
His aspiration is that through his run, he can ignite inspiration in others to consider becoming organ donors, thereby contributing to the collective effort of saving lives.
