"The more we learn, the better we serve. The better we serve, the greater the difference we make"
This afternoon, we came together once again for another insightful CPA Australia City Taxation Discussion Group session, where tax professionals gathered to exchange knowledge, discuss emerging developments, and stay ahead in an ever-changing tax landscape.
Today's presentation, "Australian Tax in 2026," was delivered by Neil Pereira, Director of Pereira Consulting. The session explored the significant tax changes shaping the year ahead, including the Federal Budget, the Tax Reform Bill, Pillar Two, Payday Super, and the evolving compliance calendar. It reinforced the importance of understanding not only the legislative changes themselves, but also how they interact and impact clients in practice.
A sincere thank you to Neil for delivering a highly engaging and thought-provoking presentation, providing practical insights that will help practitioners navigate an increasingly complex tax environment with greater confidence.
This session was proudly organised by Teddy Kosasih, Partner at MaxGrowth HQ, and Henry Kwok, Partner at DVT Mcleods, with a shared commitment to creating a forum where practitioners can continue to learn, collaborate, and strengthen the quality of advice we provide to our clients.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the discussion, and to CPA Australia for once again providing the venue and supporting the ongoing professional development of our community.
When we continue to grow our knowledge, we strengthen our ability to solve problems, create value, and make a lasting difference for those we serve.
Let's Together We Make a Difference.
