AI is great… until it confidently gives you a reference that doesn’t exist.

That’s when it’s time to hit the AI Emergency Button 🚨

In our latest video, Mark Rice steps in to show what happens when AI fills the gaps, from hallucinated references to missing paywalled content.

Because here’s the reality:

AI can’t access large parts of the information professionals rely on including subscription databases, eBooks, newspapers, and CA ANZ’s own member-only content.

So while it’s a powerful starting point, it’s not the full picture.

That’s where the CA Library comes in. Our team can help you verify, supplement and strengthen your research with trusted sources.

✅ Use AI
✅ But don’t rely on it alone

Because librarians don’t hallucinate.

Did you know over 6,000 mentors are helping shape the next generation of Chartered Accountants? 🤝

Behind every work-ready CA is real-world experience – and someone who took the time to guide, challenge and support them along the way.

Through the Mentored Practical Experience (MPE) program, more than 9,000 mentees are building the technical and professional capabilities they need to thrive in an AI-driven world. 🧠

At the centre of this journey is the MPE tracker; digital record of their competencies, capturing real examples of how CA Program candidates apply their skills in the workplace. It becomes credible evidence of their experience, helping demonstrate their value and readiness in future career opportunities.

As Samantha Wilson FCA shares, mentors play a critical role in building confident, work-ready CAs.
