These four policies cover four completely different scenarios:

🛡️ Life insurance protects your family's future if you're gone.
🛡️ TPD protects against permanent incapacity.
🛡️ Trauma cover kicks in at diagnosis, regardless of whether you can return to work.
🛡️ Income protection covers the gap while you recover.

A lot of people are underinsured because they have just one policy, thinking it will do the job of four.

Get in touch to find out whether your current cover is adequately protecting you and your family.

There's never a perfect time to think about insurance. And we get it, there are far more exciting things to think about.

But there is a worst time – and that's after something goes wrong. Every year you delay is a year of higher premiums, potential exclusions, and uncovered risk. The best version of this conversation happens before anything bad happens. Let's have it now

Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) seems like a slippery slope to living pay check to pay check.

If you struggle with cash flow, chances are a good budgeting tool will be more useful to you than relying on BNPL services.

What do you think, is it time to give up BNPL?

Take your foot off the pedal. It’s ok to have a week’s worth of laundry, leftovers for lunch (and dinner), and tumbleweeds down the hallway, right?

If you're budget-curious, but prefer to take a looser, more intuitive approach, the 50/30/20 budgeting rule may work for you.

50/30/20 means your funds would be divided like so:
- 50% on needs – rent/home loan, utilities, groceries
- 30% on wants – fashion, dining out, travel
- 20% on savings – putting money aside or paying down debt

What do you think? Is this a style of budgeting you could get behind?

The insurance policies inside your super were set up for a version of you that no longer exists.

Default cover is better than nothing. But it's designed for the average – not for your unique situation: your income, your mortgage, your family, your life.

When did you last check what you're actually covered for?

When it comes to money, mindset can be the difference between struggling and feeling comfortable.

We've seen people with fantastic incomes live pay cheque to pay cheque.

We've also seen people on modest incomes feel financially free – they have savings for a rainy day, they're paying off their home loan, and they know where their money's going.

It's not about having a lot, but making the most of what you have, and this starts by being crystal clear on where you're spending your funds.

Have you taken the time to reflect on your money mindset?

Trauma cover exists because surviving a serious illness is expensive in ways nobody warns you about.

Besides the medical costs, there's the time off work, the allied health treatments not covered by Medicare, the partner who reduces their hours to help, the small comforts you pay for just to feel normal again.

A trauma policy pays a lump sum on diagnosis – so the financial pressure doesn't compound the health one.

Get in touch to understand whether trauma cover makes sense for you.

Compound interest is often hailed as the world's eighth wonder.

Grasp it, and you reap the rewards; miss it, and you're footing the bill.

Let's look at a basic scenario: If you start with $1,000 and add just $20 every week for five years – assuming you're earning a 5% interest rate – you'll end up with $7,310, of which $1,110 is interest earned.

So, which side are you on – collecting or coughing up? 🤔
