Our family — Mum (Ann), Vanessa, Andrew and I — couldn’t be prouder to celebrate an incredible milestone for Dad.

This Thursday, May 7th, marks 50 years in the financial services industry for Richard.

Fifty years isn’t just time in a career — it’s a lifetime of showing up for people. Through changing times, challenges and milestones, Dad has been a constant for so many families, offering not just advice, but genuine care, reassurance and guidance when it’s mattered most.

What makes this achievement so special isn’t just the years — it’s how he’s spent them. Building real relationships, supporting people through life’s big moments, and always putting people first.

From humble beginnings in a home office in Violet Town to supporting clients across Euroa, Shepparton, Mansfield, regional Victoria, Melbourne and beyond, his values have never changed — kindness, integrity and doing what’s right.

Beyond his work, he’s always believed in giving back. Over the years he’s supported countless local charities and community events, and proudly sponsored the Violet Town and Euroa Football Netball Clubs for countless seasons.

To everyone who has been part of the journey — thank you. Your trust and support mean more than words can say.

Important Update for Shepparton Office Visitors

Please be advised that roadworks on Wyndham Street have now commenced. As a result, access to Hayes Street from Wyndham Street is currently closed, and some on-street parking near our office is unavailable, but parking remains available on Maude Street and on Hayes Street closest to that intersection.

🚧 Traffic Update – Shepparton Office Access 🚧
Roadworks at the intersection of Goulburn Valley Highway (Wyndham St) and Hayes Street will begin in April and run through to mid-2026.
If you’re visiting our office, please allow a little extra time as:
• Lane closures will be in place (one lane each way remains open)
• Hayes Street access may be temporarily closed with detours
• Delays are expected
• Reduced speed limits and no parking in the work zone
• Some footpaths will be closed with signed alternate routes
Traffic controllers and signage will be on site to help guide you.

I’m heading up to Ruffy this afternoon.

If you’re able to help secure any of the items below, please drop them to the corner of Middlemiss Road and Depot Road in Longwood by 1pm today. We’re especially short on a few critical things.

Bushfire relief and support.

We are very sad to hear that some of our amazing clients have been impacted by last week’s bush fire. Our thoughts are with them and their families as they try to rebuild. We also have a lot of amazing clients who have been fighting the fires directly and many others helping with the recovery process.

If you want to help out there is a huge need for items like Hay, generators, Storage containers, toiletries, pet food, chook feed, food, drinking water, bullets, fuel vouchers, which can be dropped at the Longwood depot or smaller items/food at the recovery centres around the local Shires. More details including how to access funding and relief payments is attached below and if you can’t help physically I’ve also added links to 2 organisations you can donate to.
