Use your actual business numbers to build goals you can realistically work towards.

Start by reviewing:
- Your current revenue and profit
- Monthly cash flow
- Biggest expenses
- Most profitable products or services
- What worked and what didn’t
- Expected costs and changes for the year ahead

Then use those numbers to set realistic revenue, profit, cash flow and spending goals for the rest of the financial year.

GST collected on your sales is generally money you’re collecting for the ATO.

GST paid on eligible business purchases may reduce the amount you owe.

If you spend the GST you’ve collected, you could be short on cash when your BAS payment is due.
