From the 1st of December 2026, the ATO will no longer accept payments via credit card.

This decision was made following the Reserve Bank of Australia’s review of Merchant Card payment costs and Surcharging.

If you have a payment plan in place with a credit card, you will need to update this a different payment method before the 30th of November to avoid your plan defaulting.

If you currently pay the ATO with a credit card, you will need to review and change to one of their other payment options, they have listed them here: https://www.ato.gov.au/individuals-and-families/paying-the-ato/how-to-pay

Today we’d like to celebrate a special milestone for Patrick Miller and Jacob Nayda, who have both reached 10 years working for Rowe Partners! 👏
Both hailing from Port Augusta, Patrick and Jacob joined the team in 2016 as graduate accountants. From the early days of learning the ropes, they’ve now built their careers, completed their CPA’s, grown their skillset and become trusted and respected accountants to many of our clients.
Today, they provide their accounting knowledge, passion, and expertise from our Modbury office.
