Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) tax time in Australia marks the end of the FBT year on 31 March , when employers must review any non-cash benefits provided to staff, such as vehicles, entertainment, work related items, salary package perks. This determines whether an FBT liability applies.

FBT returns by 21 May 2026, or 25 June 2026 if using a tax agent.
