Superannuation payments are changing 📑

Previously, employers could pay superannuation on a quarterly basis. From 1 July 2026, superannuation payments will need to be made on the same day as payday.

There is no change to the contribution rate — this will remain at 12%.

A New Chapter for Haddad Baker

Over the past month there have been a few changes within our business. We want to reassure everyone that Carl and his experienced team are still here, continuing to provide the same reliable accounting and tax support you’ve come to know and trust.

Carl’s team will now consist of Nathan, Elise, Carol, Sarah J, Tash and Sarah C. We will remain working together to support our clients and the local community with the same friendly service, professional advice and care. Emma will also be back with us after spending some quality time with her new baby.

We’re still in the same office, with the same familiar faces, and we truly appreciate the relationships we’ve built with our clients over the years.

Today was a bitter sweet day at Haddad Baker! Today we farewelled the first employee we ever hired Tennille!

Tennille heads overseas on a 12 month working holiday and we are so excited for her but at the same time will miss her.

Tennille came to us as soon as she finished school, she was shy and timid at first but quickly grew into a very capable executive assistant.

We want to thank Tennille from the bottom of our hearts for everything she has done for us, our families and our clients!

You did your best for our clients everyday, we can’t tell you what that means to us that so many of our clients had the experience we aim to provide because of you!

Just as she excels at everything, Tennille has excelled at training the new client managers.

Tennille we will miss you, we are so grateful for you and what you have helped us create at Haddad Baker. You have been fiercely loyal to us and above everything you are just a great human being.

We look forward to seeing what you achieve in the future because the sky is the limit!
