If you’re an Aussie resident for tax purposes, and you earn income overseas, you may need to report it in your Australian tax return

It all counts.

But, if you paid tax in another country, you might be able to claim a foreign income tax offset, so you don’t pay tax twice.

👉 Remember, many countries finish their tax year on 31 December, but ours runs from 1 July to 30 June. Keep this in mind when you’re collecting your information
