كتاب كلمة منفعة - البابا شنوده الثالث- صلاة في بدء العام الجديد

اجعله يا رب عامًا مباركًا..
عامًا نقيًا نرضيك فيه..
عامًا تحل فيه بروحك..
وتشترك في العمل معانا..
تمسك بأيدينا، وتقود أفكارنا من أول العام إلى آخره..
حتى يكون هذا العام لك وتستريح فيه..
إنه عام جديد نقي لا تسمح أن نلوثه بشيء من الخطايا ومن النجاسات..
كل عمل نعمله في هذا العام، اشترك يا رب فيه..
بل لنصمت نحن، وتعمل أنت كل شيء..
حتى نُسَر بكل ما تعمله ونقول مع يوحنا البشير:
"كل شيء به كان، وبغيره لم يكن شيء مما كان".
وليكن هذا العام يا رب عامًا سعيدًا..
أطبع فيه بسمة علي كل وجه، وَفَرِّح كل قلب..
وادخل بنعمتك في التجارب، وأعط المجربين معونة..
وانعم علَى الكل بالسلام والراحة..
أعط رزقًا للمعوزين، وشفاء للمرضى، وعزاء للحزانى..
لسنا نسأل من أجل أنفسنا فقط..
إنما نسأل من أجل الكل. لأنهم لك..
خلقتهم ليتمتعوا بك، فأسعدهم إذَن بك..
نسألك من أجل الكنيسة ومن أجل كرازتك، ومن أجل كلمتك،
لتصل إلى كل قلب..
ونسألك من أجل بلادنا، ومن أجل سلام العالم، لكيما يأتي ملكوتك في كل موضع..
اجعله يا رب عامًا مثمرًا، كله خير..
كل يوم فيه له عمله، ولكل ساعة عملها..
ولا تسمح أن توجد فيه لحظة واحدة عقيمة..
إنما املأ حياتنا فيه نشاطًا وعملا وإنتاجًا..
أعطنا بركة التعب المنتج، المقدس..
وأعطنا شركة الروح القدس في كل أعمالنا..
نشكرك يا رب لأنك أحييتنا حتى هذه اللحظة، وأهديتنا هذا العام، لكيما نباركك فيه..

SCAM ALERT 🚨

Be aware of an email scam that’s pretending to be from us, asking you to update your multifactor authentication (MFA).

This scam encourages you to scan a QR code that directs you to a fake myGov sign in page, designed to steal your details.

✋ Do not scan the QR code or enter any of your information.
🛑 Remember, we won’t send you an email with a link or QR code to login to our online services.

We’ve seen a bit of confusion around the Medicare levy and the Medicare levy surcharge.

Do you know the difference between them? 🤔

👉 Almost everybody will pay the Medicare levy, it’s 2% of your taxable income and it helps to fund Australia’s public health system.

In addition to the Medicare levy there is the Medicare levy surcharge (MLS). We know, nearly the exact same name 😅.

If you and your family did not have appropriate private health cover for the full 2022-23 income year, the Medicare levy SURCHARGE would have kicked in if you were a:

👉 single person earning above $90,000 a year, or
👉 couple or family earning above 180,000 a year.

You only need to pay the surcharge for the part of the year you and your family did not have appropriate private health insurance cover.

"Closing and reopening your business to avoid your debts is a great idea!"...

🙄 Sometimes you just know when you’re given bad advice.

If you’re a business owner facing insolvency, you need sound advice you can rely on. A registered liquidator or trustee is a great place to start.

Watch out for advisers who suggest illegal phoenix activity. This means liquidating or abandoning your business and reopening it under a new name to avoid your debts. Following inappropriate insolvency advice will make a bad situation worse, and could put you at risk of a fine, criminal conviction or even jail.

Scammers are sending text messages about a cost of living payment with a link to a fake myGov website.

They use fake myGov websites to steal your personal information. This payment is not real and we never ask you to click on links in a text message.

Call the Scams and Identity Theft Helpdesk on 1800 941 126 straight away if you have:

• Opened a link in a suspicious text
• Given someone you don’t know your myGov or other personal details
• Replied to a suspicious text.

A Sydney man has been sentenced to nine years’ jail for tax fraud. He is the second person out of five who were recently convicted as part of Operation Elbrus; which uncovered a large-scale, tax fraud and money laundering scheme.

In handing down the sentence, the judge said, “The offender does not appear to understand or accept the gross violation of societal norms involved in dishonestly taking over $30 million in taxes which should have been available to spend by government on behalf of the community.”

We actively work with the Australian Federal Police and other agencies to identify anyone who participates in defrauding the government to fund extravagant lifestyles at the expense of hard-working Aussies.
