From 1 July 2024, the ATO increased the fixed work-from-home deduction rate from 67¢ to 70¢ per hour. Sounds good, right? But here's the reality...

✔️ You must record every hour worked from home
✔️ Only valid when working in your dedicated home office
✖️ Doesn’t apply to cafés, co-working spaces, or the park

📅 Super Contribution Reminder!

Make sure your super contribution reaches your Super Fund before 30 June 2026 to stay on track for tax time.

If you’re planning to claim a tax deduction for your contribution, don’t forget to:
✅ Submit a Notice of Intent to Claim
✅ Receive an acknowledgement from your Super Fund

This must all be done before any of the following:
- Lodging your 2026 tax return
- Changing super funds
- Withdrawing from your super
- Starting an account-based pension or transitioning to retirement income by 30 June 2027.
