If you want to reduce your study loan balance before indexation applies, you’ll need to make a voluntary repayment by 26 May. This will allow enough time for your payment to be processed.

There are a few ways you can make a voluntary repayment - including BPAY and credit card.

Repayments cannot be claimed as a tax deduction.

⚠️Rising fuel costs? ATO support is now available but you must register to access it.

As an eligible taxpayer you can access the ATO fuel response payment plan with the following conditions:

⛽️ No upfront payment;

⛽️ A 3-year payment plan period of 36 equal monthly instalments;

⛽️ General interest charge remission (GIC). The ATO will make a decision to remit any general interest charge that has accrued from the time of your application to the date of the third monthly instalment provided you:

📌 pay all instalments agreed under the payment plan for 3 months

📌 bring any outstanding lodgments up to date in that period.

We encourage you to contact our team to discuss your eligibility and explore the options available to you.

ATO provides targeted support to eligible businesses that are unable to meet their payment obligations due to high fuel costs.

The Empowering Queensland Women 2025 grants program is now taking applications with funding of up to $10,000 available to support community events and initiatives to raise awareness and address barriers to economic well-being faced by women and girls.

This includes:
📌 Financial literacy, capability and resilience, including understanding superannuation.

📌 Digital literacy, including online safety and awareness when participating in the digital financial transactions, online commerce and e-business development)

📌 Upskilling and reskilling, including CV writing

📌 Networking and mentoring opportunities that support women's career progression, incl leadership opportunities.
