❤️ A LITTLE UPDATE FROM US AT ANYTIME TAX ❤️

Hey everyone! 👋

We just wanted to pop on and say hello, and apologise for being a little quiet on Facebook lately.

Between running the business, work commitments, family life and, sadly, the recent passing of a much-loved family member, it's been a pretty full-on time for us.

With tax season coming to an end, we've also been incredibly busy behind the scenes, doing our best to keep up with appointments, enquiries and everything else that comes with running a small business.

We know we haven't been as active on here as usual, and some of you may have had to wait a little longer for a reply or an appointment, so we genuinely appreciate your patience and understanding.

Sometimes life throws a lot at you all at once, and family always comes first.

But rest assured, we're still here, still working hard and still doing our best to give every client the friendly, personal service we're known for.

Deevah absolutely loves meeting everyone and is always happy to say hello. Rebel is still a little unsure about all the attention, but she’s getting there. 😂

At Anytime Tax, we pride ourselves on making our office feel relaxed, welcoming and homely, while still providing friendly service and expert tax advice.

We’re still trading every weekend and we’re open until 10pm Monday to Friday, so there’s plenty of time to fit your tax appointment around your schedule.

If it’s your only job, or main source of income, yes, you should claim the tax-free threshold on your TFN declaration form.

This means, the first $18,200 you earn each year is tax free.

But it’s important to know, your employer might still take tax out of your pay if it looks like you’ll earn more than $18,200 (just to be safe).

If you don’t end up earning more than $18,200, you’ll get the tax back when you lodge your return.

If you have multiple jobs, only claim the tax-free threshold from ONE of them (usually the highest paying).

The tax-free threshold applies to your TOTAL income, not to each job separately. So, if job 1, job 2 and job 3 all think they’re your only employer, they might not withhold enough tax.
