🤝 Great to join the Carlton IN Business Round Table discussion last week at IKON Park!

The session explored how visibility, trust, and strategic relationships help businesses grow, a topic that aligns closely with how we approach things at Lark.

It was great to hear perspectives from leaders across a wide range of industries and share ideas around building stronger business relationships.

Although with the Carlton team training right outside the window, staying focused wasn't always easy! 😁🏉

🏉 As a proud sponsor of the Old Carey Grammarians Football Club, we were delighted to attend the Panther Coterie Dinner last week at the St Andrews Hotel - Fitzroy.

A highlight of the evening was hearing from AFL great Paul Salmon, who shared stories and insights from an incredible career with Essendon and Hawthorn.

It was also a great opportunity to catch up with fellow sponsors, coterie members, past players and supporters, and enjoy an evening that brings together so many parts of the wider Old Carey community.

Wonderful to attend another W**e & Wisdom event, this time over dinner!

Held at the Sanctum Club in East Melbourne, the evening featured former AFL umpire Ray Chamberlain, better known as Razor Ray.

A great night of good food, good company, and plenty of conversation!

A change of scenery for Eric and Sally last week! ⛷️

They headed over to New Zealand for a few days of skiing with friends and family, enjoying some well-earned time away from the office.

Running a business can be non-stop, so sometimes the best thing you can do is properly switch off, recharge and return feeling refreshed.

After enjoying some time on the slopes, they’re back and ready to go this week!

Anastasia joined us a few months ago as our new Intermediate Accountant and has already become a great part of the team.

It was lovely to celebrate another year of working together with a fantastic dinner at Ambrosia Mediterranean Cuisine!

🤝 Last week, Eric attended the Workplace Wellbeing Forum organised by the wonderful team at Carlton IN Business.

It was great to hear from Amanda Sellers from アサヒビール ASAHIBEER, Ronnie Frankowski from Moose Toys and Bridget Lodge from Bupa Australia who shared some great insights into making wellbeing part of everyday workplace culture, while recognising that what works can look different for every team.

Plenty of valuable takeaways and ideas to bring back to Lark!

💫 You might recognise this spiral staircase if you’ve ever visited our office at Hawthorn East!

It’s one of our favourite features of the building and part of what drew us to this space all those years ago. Lots of natural light, a modern feel and plenty of other businesses around us.

We’ve always loved being part of a building where you get to know the people around you, whether it’s a quick chat on the way into the office or catching up at the end of the day.

It’s been a great home for Lark over the years!

👏 Another great event by the team at Qamba last week!

Eric and Sally had a fantastic afternoon at Beneath Driver Lane, with some interesting insights into AI, cybersecurity and deception, followed by a magic show by Damien Boog, a wh***ey tasting and plenty of networking.

A great combination of learning, fun and good conversations!
