AML changes are coming 🚨

New Anti-Money Laundering laws are being introduced for accountants, tax agents, and bookkeepers, which means changes in how we work with you.

What to expect:
• More ID checks
• More questions
• Increased compliance

Important: We will no longer be providing accountant’s letters for banks or brokers, as these create compliance risks under the new laws.

You may also see fees increase over time due to the additional compliance requirements.

We know it’s more admin, but it’s about protecting you and the system we all operate in.

Accountant’s letters? Unfortunatley we can't help!

With new AML laws coming into effect, accountants are facing stricter compliance obligations.

This means:
• More verification
• More compliance
• And changes to what we can provide

Including 👉 no more accountant’s letters for third parties.

We understand that finance is becoming harder to obtain, but our insurances and professional bodies no longer support us providing these documents. We are happy to provide alternative documents and liaise with finance brokers, but accountants letters are a NO.

Big news for our team 🤍

We’re so excited to share that Santi Accounting has been selected as a finalist for the Australian Accounting Awards, Boutique Firm of the Year.

From day one, our goal has been to do things differently, to build real relationships with our clients and create an experience that actually feels supportive (not overwhelming).
