✅️End-of-year finalisation through STP✅️

Have you lodged your end of year STP finalisation filing?? STP Finalisation was due by 14 July, unless you are considered a Closely Held Payee (Employee).

For small employers (19 or fewer employees) who only have closely held payees, the due date for end-of-year STP finalisation is the payee's tax return due date.

In other circumstances, where there are 20 or more employees, or where there is a mix of arms length employees and closely held employees, STP Finalisation is due at 30 September for Closely Held Employees and 14 July for everyone else

The 31 October lodgement deadline is less than one week away.

Have you lodged your FY2022 Tax Return yet??

If not, don’t worry.

Most registered tax agents have a special lodgement program and can lodge returns for their clients after the usual 31 October deadline. The due date for your tax return will depend on your personal situation as well as when you engage your tax agent. So long as you’ve engaged a tax agent prior to 31 October 2022 you should be entitled to their extended lodgement program due date.
