The Reserve Bank of Australia has increased the nation's cash rate by 25 basis points to 0.35 per cent. This will be the first rate rise in more than 11 years, and the first change since November 2020. Inevitably this means mortgage repayments will become more expensive. Each of the major banks have already passed on the RBA’s rate rise in full lifting home loan rates up to 4.8%.

Depending on the size of your loan you could see a substantial increase in your monthly repayments.

Have you reviewed your loan recently? Now is the time to keep an eye on things, as it is predicted that there may be another increase in the near future, possibly from June 2022.

Currently on the market are refinancing incentives with lenders offering cashback offers of up to $3,000 for making the switch and interest rates from 2.09% to 2.29%.

Last week we were finally able to host our mid year seminar for our clients - thanks to every one of you for attending and hope you enjoyed the night.
The seminar covered off on a business update, coupled with a Budget update and sharing of useful strategies that we have been able to implement for clients recently, followed by a great film. It was a wonderful night out 😊
We thank all our clients, old and new for your continued support.

Happy New Year! We hope you are all keeping safe and well.
This week, the team are working from home as a precaution; there have been a few cases of COVID floating around so we are taking the necessary steps to keep our staff and clients safe. We are still operating as normal from home so you are still able to reach us for anything you require.
Last year we unfortunately had to cancel some client seminars we were planning; the pandemic seemed to disrupt our plans each time, so we are hoping to make up for this in 2022.
As a result, we were unable to share the full version of our video below for you all; a story of how SBA came to be when Shane finished playing football, along with interviews with some of our valued clients.
We would also like to acknowledge and celebrate the addition of our 2 new partners as of 2021, Stuart and Stefanie. We look forward to a bright future ahead!

As the 2021 year draws to a close, we'd like to wish all our wonderful clients a very Merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year.
We thank all those who have recommended us to their friends and families; it is so appreciated, particularly during times in and out of lockdown.
The last 12 months have been busier than ever, and we have this amazing group of individuals to thank for their continued hard work and dedication to SBA and our clients. We are extremely grateful to have you all on our team, and know how hard you all work!
Our last day in the office will be Thursday 23rd December, returning Monday 10th January 2022.
We look forward to continue serving you all in 2022! But for now, we hope you all have a relaxing break and have a chance to switch off for a few weeks.

We hope you are all OK and surviving this extra few weeks of lockdown.
As the move to working from home becomes more of the norm, we are embracing technology to allow us to keep in 'virtual' contact with all our clients, although we hope that we can see you all in person soon!

Our staff continue to work hard remotely and we are extremely proud of the service they all continue to provide for our clients.
