Being busy is not always the same as being profitable. Across regional NSW, we see many tradies booked out, working hard and putting in long days, yet still unsure where their money goes.

In this article, we’ve shared a few habits we often see in stronger trade businesses:
🔹They use the right tools and people
🔹They pay themselves properly
🔹They keep an eye on job profitability
🔹They plan ahead for tax
🔹They do not rely on the bank balance alone

If you run a trade business, remember to look beyond the workload and check what the numbers are really telling you.

A sweet school holiday moment from the Twomeys family.

Our little Twomeys tots, daughters of Chloe Lange and Jenna Fallon, met Fairy Poppilina at her concert at the Cootamundra Library (Riverina Regional Library) this week.

It was lovely to see the girls enjoying the magic of storytelling, imagination and community during the school holidays. They couldn't wait to show off their dresses to the Team Twomeys crew before embarking on their adventure.

Does your super still suit your stage of life?

Industry funds can be a strong fit for many Australians. But as your balance grows, retirement gets closer, and your financial life becomes more complex, it may be worth asking whether your current structure still supports the decisions ahead.

In our latest article, Tim Boxsell and Matt Coman look at why some investors consider moving from an industry fund to a wrap platform, and the questions worth asking before retirement.

Disruption in the global fuel supply chain is creating real pressure for many Australian businesses right now, particularly across transport, logistics, agriculture, manufacturing and retail.

To help affected businesses manage short-term pressure, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has announced a range of temporary relief measures. This support is designed to help businesses manage rising fuel costs, supply delays and cash flow strain

Applications are currently available until 30 June 2026. If your business has been impacted by rising fuel costs or supply chain disruptions, speak with your Team Twomeys adviser to review your position and understand what support may be available.
