We are proud to have sponsored the HQB Marathon as part of the 2026 Running Festival over the weekend, and to be part of such a fantastic community event.

A huge congratulations to every runner, walker, volunteer, organiser and supporter who helped bring the day to life. Whether you were chasing a PB, cheering from the sidelines or just trying to make it to the finish line in one piece, it was great to see the Coffs Coast community out in force.

100% of entry fees go towards supporting local children’s charities. Events like this are what make our region so special, and we’re proud to support them.

September is a good time to review:

💰 Income against your forecast
💰 Changes in wages and operating costs
💰 Upcoming BAS and tax payments
💰 Overdue customer invoices
💰 The effect of paying super each pay cycle
💰 Whether your current pricing is covering your costs
💰 How much cash the business needs each month

Strong sales do not always mean strong cash flow.

Meet Catherine Stojcevska, Partner at HQB.

Catherine started with HQB in 2017, became a Business Manager in 2019, and joined as a Partner in 2020. She brings more than 30 years of experience in accounting and commercial business, with a strong passion for people and helping each individual reach their highest potential.

Before returning to private practice, Catherine gained hands-on business experience in hospitality as a General Manager and Licensee. This hands-on experience gave her a practical understanding of the challenges business owners face, from managing cash flow and making strategic decisions to leading teams and navigating day-to-day operations.

Catherine’s experience is a reminder that accounting is not just about numbers. It is about people, planning and practical support. You may also recognise her from her heavy involvement in BWN (Coffs Coast Business Women’s Network) or her dancing skills during this years’ Stars of the Coffs Coast fundraiser.

🏃 42.2km from bush to beach—now that’s a long-term commitment.

HQB is proud to sponsor the HQB Marathon at the 2026 Coffs Harbour Running Festival on Sunday, 30 August.

The iconic 42.2km course takes runners through the Coffs Creek Walkway and Botanic Gardens before heading towards the beautiful Jetty Foreshores—showcasing some of the best scenery the Coffs Coast has to offer.

Whether you’re chasing a personal best, ticking a marathon off your bucket list or cheering from the sidelines, it promises to be a fantastic day for our community.

At HQB, we know that big goals don’t happen by accident. They take planning, preparation, consistency—and the determination to keep moving forward when the finish line still feels a long way away.
