After 15 years of dedication, hard work, and contribution to Pinnacle Tax & Accounting she is hanging up her boots.

We are delighted to support and celebrate the next generation of female entrepreneurs. Meet Sophie Tapp, the recipient of a WWIB mini-scholarship to attend this weekend’s Foundation of Voice training. Sophie’s passion and commitment represent the bright future of young business in our region.

This is just the beginning, stay tuned as we continue to roll out more initiatives designed to empower and equip young business owners with the tools they need to thrive.

Meet Sophie:
As a second-year psychology student at Wollongong university, I’m deeply committed to empowering young women and fostering stronger community connections. My first experience with WWIB was attending a breakfast event with my mum, where I was inspired by the incredible women in the room—their stories of facing challenges, overcoming adversity, and their unwavering support for one another. Growing up around my family’s business I have also learned the importance of resilience and community support. I am truly grateful for the opportunity this scholarship provides to help me continue working toward creating more inclusive and supportive spaces where young women can grow and thrive. Thank you for believing in students like me who are passionate about making a positive difference.
