🦅🏆 EAGLES AT NATIONALS 2026 🏆🦅
What a week at Skate Paradise! 19 Eagles pulled on state jerseys at the Inline Hockey Australia National Championships and alongside their incredible teammates, they came home with 14 gold and 3 silver medals. We could not be prouder.

🦅 Remembering Fludder #89
We were so grateful to have Chris and John Fludder join us on Saturday and Sunday. They came to watch three of our Eagles wearing #89 in memory of Glen: Jaxen Carter (Under 13), Heath Reed (Veterans) and Damian Bright (Masters).

At the end of their semi final, the 50s team, led by Chris Foster and Garren Reisinger, organised a stick tap and salute for Chris and John, which was an extremely moving moment for everyone there. They loved catching up with so many people and seeing lots of familiar names and numbers from Glen's time on the junior circuit. Glen's legacy is still very much part of our hockey family. 💛

We had Eagles playing in each of these teams, and here's how they went:
🥇 Under 13 | Queensland | GOLD
Undefeated all week, then a 13 to 2 Grand Final win over NSW.
🥇 Under 15 | Queensland | GOLD
Six from six, then an 8 to 0 Grand Final shutout over Victoria.
🥇 Junior Women | Queensland | GOLD
A perfect series from the whole squad.
🥇 Senior Women | Queensland | GOLD
Undefeated, then a nail biting 2 to 1 Grand Final win over Victoria.
🥇 Veterans | Queensland | GOLD
Knocked off the previously unbeaten NSW 6 to 2 in the Grand Final.
🥇 50 and Over | Queensland | GOLD
Undefeated all week and a 6 to 3 Grand Final win over SA.
🥈 Under 9 | Queensland | SILVER
Undefeated through the round robin before a hard fought Grand Final against Victoria.
🥈 Under 13 | NSW | SILVER
🥇 Under 11 | South Australia | GOLD
Topped the round robin and won the Grand Final 3 to 1.

Also flying the Eagles flag: NSW Under 11, QLD Masters (semi finalists) and TAS Senior Men (semi finalists).

A massive thank you to every state coach, manager and support crew member who gave up their time to prepare and lead these squads, and to the teammates from clubs across the country who our Eagles were proud to play alongside. 🙌

From our youngest Under 9s to our 50 and Over legends, this is what Eagles hockey is all about. Huge thanks also to our own coaches, families and volunteers who helped get everyone there. 💛🖤

📸 A big thank you to Julie from PUCK YEAH and Erika O'Brien for capturing so many of these special moments. 🙏
