Amazing that facebook is able to completly block alt/extreme right content in Germany, yet are unable to stop crypto scam face book ads preying on the Australian senior citizens. We hope that Andrew Forrest is succesful in this case against Facebook.

After another heart breaking discussion with a senior who was caught up in a fake brokerage scam, we are fuming angry . For the cost of 4 permanent positions, an active "pre-investment review" service coupled with a media campaign (traditional and digital) the ACC could easily mitigate the below 70 million in losses. Our seniors deserve better than the nonsense scamwatch site that the ACCC run.

Investment scams reported to Scamwatch have cost Australians over $70 million in the first half of this year, more than the total losses reported to Scamwatch for all of 2020, and projected losses are set to reach $140 million by the end of the year.
