Scam letters and emails are getting harder to spot. We’ve recently seen examples of communications claiming to be from ASIC and requesting payment. At first glance, they can look legitimate, with official-looking logos and contact details. Before you pay, click, or share details, pause and check. ASIC communications should come from an .gov.au email address, and you can contact ASIC directly to verify anything you are unsure about.
If something feels off, do not rely on the details in the message. Contact ASIC directly or speak with your 4Front Adviser. A few minutes of checking can prevent a much bigger problem. Read more here: https://4front.net.au/business-consulting/scam-awareness/
