*UPDATE ON SELF employed Support Scheme*
The government has announced the package to support self empoyed whereby you will receive 80% of the average of your NET profit over the last three years, with a maximum of £2,500 per month.
Example
2017 Profit £16,000
2018 Profit £18,000
2019 Profit £25,000
Total £59,000
£59,000 dividend by 3 = £19,666.66 x 80% divided by 12 = £1,311.11per month
So, in this example you will receive £1,311.11 per month for 3 months.
Please note the earliest you get paid is June 2020. Goverment will write to all eligible self employed people. You do not need to take any actions if you are self employed.
