With the new financial year having started I would urge clients not to rush lodging your tax return.

The ATO advises that you should give at least 3 weeks to all businesses, financial institutions and other intermediaries to finalise any income details so that your pre-filling report can be updated.

Don’t risk lodging your returns early- if you do you risk lodging incomplete data and paying back the ATO!
